More than 10 years in IT consultancy

Since 2015, the Walit Group has pursued two parallel ambitions: on the one hand, to master technology according to the highest development standards; on the other, to expand beyond national borders. In its early years, the Treviso-based software house Walit focused its growth on working as a subcontractor for some of the leading players in the Italian market. This enabled the company to build solid expertise in the development of the main e-commerce technologies, from Magento to Salesforce, from Shopware to WooCommerce, and ultimately Shopify. Then came the turning point. In 2019, when artificial intelligence still seemed closer to science fiction than to everyday business, Walit launched its first major international AI project for a US client. Word quickly spread, leading to a second major AI project in the healthcare sector, again commissioned by an American client. This project kept Walit’s AI department engaged through the end of 2025. Meanwhile, the Group’s e-commerce development expertise was transferred to its subsidiary Medlit Tech, established in Morocco in 2023. Today, Medlit Tech has become a recognised reference point for Shopify development across the North African market. But for Walit, there is always another challenge ahead. In 2026, the Group established Emilit, its commercial arm for the Gulf countries. Today, the Walit Group is led by Luca Romanello and Diego Ganeo and brings together more than twenty professionals, capable of supporting both the highly specific needs of SMEs and the more complex requirements of major industrial groups.
