A heartfelt thank you to journalist Elena Filini and Il Gazzettino for giving us the opportunity to tell the story of a project that was particularly meaningful to us.

During the difficult months of the Covid-19 pandemic, technology suddenly became much more than a tool for innovation: it became a way to stay connected, support communities and respond to very practical everyday needs.

In that context, our team developed an application dedicated to the people of Treviso, designed to make it possible to order groceries directly from home and simplify access to essential services at a time when mobility and personal contact were severely limited.

We are therefore especially grateful to Elena Filini, who interviewed us and helped bring attention to an initiative created with a very clear purpose: using technology to provide a useful, immediate and local response during an unprecedented emergency.

For Walit, that project represented something important.

It reminded us that innovation is not measured only by complexity, scale or technological sophistication. Sometimes, its greatest value lies in solving a simple but urgent problem, at the right moment, for the people who need it most.
