Walit Group is attending GITEX Global in Dubai!
Today marked our first day at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai, and from the very first hours it was clear why this event remains one of the most important meeting points for the global technology industry.
Hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 45th edition of GITEX GLOBAL brings together more than 6.800 technology companies, 2.000 startups, 1.200 investors and delegations from over 180 countries, creating an extraordinary environment in which technology, business and international cooperation converge.
For us, the first day was above all an opportunity to meet people.
Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of speaking with companies, institutions, technology professionals and potential partners from different parts of the world, exchanging ideas about the profound transformation that artificial intelligence is bringing to organisations and entire industries.
Artificial intelligence is unquestionably at the centre of this year’s GITEX. The discussions taking place across the exhibition go well beyond individual applications or tools. They increasingly concern the creation of complete technological ecosystems in which AI, data, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and advanced computing become interconnected components of a new digital economy.
One of the most significant discussions of the day explored the concept of AI-native societies, with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman joining G42 Group CEO Peng Xiao to discuss how artificial intelligence may progressively become embedded in the infrastructure, services and institutions of future societies.
For a technology group such as ours, these conversations are particularly relevant.
Our work has always been based on the idea that technology should not simply automate existing processes, but should help companies rethink the way they operate. The rapid development of artificial intelligence is now accelerating this transformation, opening the way to increasingly autonomous, intelligent and interconnected digital systems.
Walking through GITEX also offers a remarkable perspective on the international technology landscape. Global technology companies stand alongside emerging innovators, governments and specialised software companies, each presenting a different interpretation of what the next generation of digital services may look like.
And perhaps this is precisely the greatest value of GITEX: bringing together different technologies, cultures and visions in the same place.
For us, Dubai has once again proven to be an exceptional crossroads between Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia — a natural environment for building relationships, exploring new markets and discussing future collaborations.
Our first day ends with many conversations already started, new ideas to explore and several interesting opportunities ahead.
And this is only the beginning.
